Puppy Adult Weight Predictor

Estimate your puppy's likely adult weight range based on their current weight and age. Useful for planning food budgets, crate sizing, and general expectations.

How this estimate works

Puppies grow fastest between 8 and 16 weeks, then growth rate slows considerably as they approach their breed's typical adult size, usually reached between 9 months (small breeds) and 18-24 months (giant breeds). This tool applies a general growth-curve multiplier based on age at measurement — it works reasonably well across most breeds but is not a substitute for breed-specific growth charts, which your veterinarian or breeder can often provide.

Why the range matters more than a single number

Genetics, sex, and individual variation mean even puppies from the same litter can land at different points within a predicted range. Treat the range as a planning tool, and re-check the estimate every few weeks as your puppy grows for a more accurate picture over time.
